Counseling and coaching
Say Yes Caribbean offers individual counseling and coaching for employees in need of extra (psychological) support. Think of for example employees who are experiencing stress, burnout, trauma, depression, family conflicts or other types of psychological issues.
Our Occupational Health Psychologist is readily available to help guide these employees to better cope with the everyday stressors of life (including work) and by doing so increasing the chance that the employee will be fully functional again as soon as possible.

How we work
Before we start with any type of counseling or coaching, our Occupational Health Psychologist conducts an intake session with the person in question. This is done to get a better understanding of the person's "problems" and is of crucial importance in devising a guidance plan for the person.
After the intake session, agreements are made with regards to the person's participation during the different sessions and an appointment is made for the first counseling or coaching session.
At the end of the therapy a report is written, explaining the different steps within the therapy and the results accomplished. This report will later be mailed to the contact person of the company.
Results
The purpose of counseling and coaching is to guide an employee back to full recovery or to support the employee in the development of certain skills and competencies. This of course requires some commitment from both the employee as well as the company itself. If both parties are committed, then expectations are that an employee can reach a state of full recovery depending on the issues faced with.
In case more specialized help is needed, we will also assist in finding the right experts to further guide the client during the process of recovery.
